1. I made all these rules for when I first startred purging.
I promised only to purge after eating dinner with my family. Now it's an addiciton... I purge EVERYTHING and everywhere... I'm most comfortable in my own bathroom but I get more up if I'm under pressure (like out to dinner with friends or some occasion)

2. No one knows... wow, no one knows.

3. I usually try to wait as long as possible or immediatley. The longest I've waited (and successfully purged) was 2 hours.

4. I purge a lot... and the weird thing is I consider everything I eat a binge... Food just makes me feel disgusting.

5. I haven't noticed any health affects... probably because I'm not a doctor, and I don't really want to admit that there are any...
I guess I get a lot more headaches and head rushes. It hurts when I do try to eat, my eyes water from swallowing and all I think about is if the food I just ate will be easy to purge.

1. where will you never purge? (ie. at school?)
School, friends house

2. does anyone know? who?
A couple of my friends actually do. My friend Carlos knew about first when it started (3 years ago) and my friend Phil found out about this year (a couple months ago) but he thinks I'm "recovered"

3. how long do you wait after you've eaten/binged to purge?
I would say no more than 5 minutes. It depends on what I eat. Some things come out better if I wait a couple minutes

4. do you only purge after binges?
No

5. have you noticed any effects on your health due to purging?
light headiness, chest pains when running/swimming/sometimes when doing nothing.

What about you? What are your answers for this?

where will you never purge? (ie. at school?)
- it really depends on whether anyone is around. at home, my family is clueless so it doesn't matter if they're in the next room.. but if i were to do it anywhere else, i'm really worried about ppl or friends noticing
- at school i've only ever purged once.. i felt really weird. plus.. it's noticeable for a little bit.. my reddened face and such.

does anyone know? who?
- one friend.. but he used to purge too, so he can't be hypocritical and tell me to stop

how long do you wait after you've eaten/binged to purge?
- anywhere from several minutes to an hour.. depending on how disgusting i feel

do you only purge after binges?
- no, i purge after most regular meals as well.. and like someone else said, whatever i didn't plan on eating

have you noticed any effects on your health due to purging?
- my teeth and hands seem fine, i've just gotten a really sore throat this weekend. extremely painful

1) id never purge at uni... its usually at home
2) my family, a couple of close friends
3) straight away after binging, the food comes right back up like i chewed it so i hope i dont absorb too many cals
4) yep. hate bullemia, i never puke unless its a binge
5) straight after binging = red eyes, puffy face, broken blood vesels under eyes, swollen glands, sore throat. long term = no enamel/ rotting teeth, dizzy, hating myself, patchy skin, hair loss

purging is awful, im trying so damn hard to stop... once today, twice the day before and 4 times the day before that... id just gone about 2 weeks without doing it at all but exam stress is hell. im trying to promise myself that today is the last time ill ever do this to myself
